The Joy of the Physical

There was so much to like about Roslyn - her bright personality, her common sense, her sense of style, her artistic and photographic skills, her love of God, family and friends. But in addition to all of that, and so much more, I also loved the physical connection with her. Her face was flawless. If I was designing a face with all the features I like, it would look like Roslyn.

At a purely selfish level, her touch is what I’m missing most. Of course I miss other aspects of our marriage, but I do so miss her touch.

The Joy of the Physical

For hours I could sit and stare,
    at sparkling eyes without compare,
with beauty greater for a while,
when accompanied by that gorgeous smile.

Touch of lips and passions rise,
    caress of skin, so mesmerised,
all other thoughts at once receded,
her touch was all I ever needed.
