Every Post Production sound recordist knows that some voice artists are easy to get along with, and some are difficult. None was more difficult to get along with in a recording session than Orson Welles. Here are excerpts from his famous recording session for Findus.
Inexplicably, this was immortalised in an episode of the Steven Spielberg cartoon, Pinky and the Brain. This was totally different to other episodes, and was most definitely an in-joke for the producers of the show. Children watching the cartoon could not have understood what was going on. Even adults outside the advertising recording industry would have wondered what was going on. But for those in the recording industry, this is a worthy tribute.
